W.A.R. in my heart

Impending gloom as I stare out the window, dripping petals of wondering

where
&
why
did you go?

Who said it was time to leave?
Not me.
Not you.
I have to watch fractures turn to irreparable breaks
The laughter down the hall has ceased to a melancholy murmur of common tongue.
Tomorrow we remove the contents
Pack them into the boxes of our hearts and minds
Saturday we put them in the ground
Wait for you to make your flowers bloom

Do you see the colors slowly making the descending decline from the world around us
where we're all just insects passing by on our flight of unknown purpose?

Give him love and strength.
That'll make the flowers grow
all the way from up above, to down below

HE took him because it was time
even though we don't agree

The colors drained
Laying sadly
Giving up
Quitting the job they were designated to do

But why..

Oh, colors, you knew that if he left you'd have to leave too.

There can't be a world with color when someone's descent to Heaven makes us black and blue
and the world around us a faded light of silent terror

...now what...

...what do we do...?

Unique

Very unique and lots of childlike innocense.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
