i cut myself with this razor blade

you see my blood run free

but soon my wound will heal itself

and a scar is all you will see.

someone once told me

on a particularly sad day

they said you'll always be together

in your very own way.

i told them that i love him

and they said hes a fool for not loving me too

i said he just doesnt understand me

then he replied ''he might not, but i do.''

i never understood that

but i was thankful for the talk we had

they helped me to see the good

and not so much all the bad.

so in closing, ill write just a simple word

i want to say goodbye

goodbye to all the memories

i once shared with that guy.
