At Lady Certainly's Stockings: Shyness

[after H. D.'s poem, "The Pool"]

Resplendent in your beauty,
are you still only human?---
still only a girl?
Shyly you lead me, from my hesitance,
to touch, to caress your stockings
(to resolve any doubt).
Not caught, but captivating in fishnet:
your legs likely leap into my trembling hands,
your toes swiftly seek (to be kissed) my eager lips.

Starward
