April's Garden

Yes she left without goodbye

For she did not know she was leaving us that day

Though if you look up to the sky

You will see the sun shining down on April's Garden

All the lives that she touched

Loved ones don't want to let go

It hurts too much

Knowing you won't see her tomorrow

Just stop and look around

And you will see

She may be gone

But not completely

In the sun is the warmth of her smile

The rain holds her tears for your sorrow

In the wind you can hear her laughter

The stars hold the sparkle in her eyes

Her presence will always be known

When you need her she will be there with you

In your heart she is home

She lives on within you

Losing a loved one can be very difficult. But it is important to realize they will still be with us in certain steps of our lives. They will always be there because they are a part of us. I liked your poem. I thought it was a nice, simple piece. I felt like it kinda ended abruptly. I don't know. I guess I just wanted to read more.

Sorry when you read the poem it was not quite complete yet. It is now. Thank you for your comments.
