Time

Time

Time passes us by so fast
Each time we blink our eyes, it becomes our past.

Time starts with a new born first breath
Time ends with someone’s death.

Time is running away like a freight train
Leaving behind on its tracks, sorrow and pain.

Time goes, we may say, oh no!
Time stays, we go.

Time turns the weather from hot to cold
Time makes us grow old.

Like our brave soldiers, time marches on
From dust until dawn.

Time is a precious gift from God above
Therefore; we should share it with love.

Time started at creation
It will end in Revelation.

A time to cheer a time to cry
A time to live and a time to die.

Time changes the color of our hair
Our skin is no longer smooth or fair.

For every child, woman and man
God holds time in the palm of His hand.

In the days of yesteryear, we were told
Time will turn the young into old.

One day all clocks will stop ticking, whistles will stop blowing and bells will stop ringing
Then all of God’s children will be worshipping and singing.

Time changes a healthy young man into a frail human being
Leaving them limited in doing certain things.

Time will rob us of our father or mother
Our sister or brother.
