Before you gave me back my soul

Which my inner demons had once stole

Like the kiss from the lips of an angel’s smile

You brought warmth and light

To a place so dark and cold

Before you walked into its doors

I didn’t even know that you existed

Now I can’t exist without you

If you walked away

All that would be left is nothing

Nothing but a big black hole

Even though I understand the concept of

Of good and evil, right and wrong, Joy and sorrow; pleasure and pain

Of how we can’t have one without the other

But as long as I have your love

Hate from the skies can never rain

Was it fate that brought us together?

When we met each other half way

Was it what made you not walk past me

I guess that it must’ve been

But then again, I’m just a hopeless romantic,

Who’s hopelessly lost in you

How I’ve come to belong

I don’t really comprehend

To question it, I don’t intend

Only to appreciate it as it occurs

Like an awesome phenomenon

That leaves us at a loss for words

Such as when the moon aligns with the sun

When the wind blows and the angels sing

When everything ceases at the sound of your name

For eternity, to you my heart remains

If I could somehow go back and do this all over again

There would be no need to because I’d do it all the same

If I could choose who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with

I already know who I’d choose; I just hope that it’s ok with you

I love you with everything

Cause I have nothing to lose and everything to gain

I want to be the one that makes you happy

Whenever you need me

I’ll always be there

Cause you’re the one

One is enough, one is all I need

You are the love of my life

A lifetime with you is what I dream of

And if that is too great of a dream to come true

I’m grateful for these past few months that I’ve spent with you.
