I did you wrong



These words stuck inside my head like a sad song



The only person who really understood me was you



We've been thru drama only we could relate to



Supported each other in times of need



Shared secrets we would never reveal



I was too blind to see



What our friendship had grown to be



I guess you have to lose something first



Before you realize what it is worth



I played with your trust



And caused you a lot of hurt



Decisions are made in the blink of an eye



But their repercussions last a lifetime



Now I'm just praying for a way



To be able to show you a brighter day



Hopelessly searching for a cure



To make things the way they were



But I can't



I just hope you understand



In life we don't start over from scratch



We just continue from where we stopped.
