Blue

Blue as a note, blue as the moon

Blue as a heart, blue as a tune

Blue as the ocean with crashing white tide

Blue as blue velvet, blue diamonds, your eyes.

Red as a sunrise that sneaks past a dawn

Red as the petals to which roses belong

Red as the summer with sweet balmy air

Red as true hearts, your soft auburn hair.

Sweet as the silence in calm reverie

Sweet as the sugar in cold summer tea

Sweet as a kiss when soft, slow and moist

Sweet as molasses, your sweet sexy voice.

And I...

Am...

Lost...

In You........................Because

In you love and sweet and beauty reside

Blue as blue velvet, blue diamonds, your eyes.

All I can say is Wow! Your poem blew me away. Especially like how you repeated the line "Blue as blue velvet, blue diamonds, your eyes". You have a lot of talent!
