Trembling

I hold you and tremble.  Deep inside of this manly façade

This strong veneer of masculine flesh, you touch my

Softness and make me shake.

I look in your eyes and fall into you.  Like a child in the

Deep well of myself.  Lower your bucket, for this water will

Never see the light of day.  We will only drink in your

Beautiful smile, grace.

Free my river, this mighty flood that flows underground.

Underneath this body of steel, these uncrying eyes, these rock hard hands.

Free my river of heartfelt emotion and let its freedom sweep us away…

As you touch me, lover.

My heart is full with you.

I hold you…helpless here with you

And slowly, without a care,

…I shake.

Here we go again. You did it again. Left me in awe. Nice poem. I've come to expect anything but the best from you. And you always give just that.
