Prayer

I wanna scream

I wanna cry

This isn't fair

I shouldn't die

To drink and drive

Was not my choice

Shh! Quiet now

I hear a voice

I hear someone say

'The girl will die'

My eyes start to water

I begin to cry

As I lose blood

My heart starts to sink

I close my eyes

And I try to think

I think of a prayer

For those left alive

I pray that they stop

Before they drink and drive

My life isn't wasted

As I drift away

My life is an example

That's all I have to say
