Flash Fiction story
It’s the year 2225 the human race has developed a lot of new technologies and has now an amazing life expectancy of 120 years in every country. Humans can’t stop making advances, Dr. Joseph, the man in charge of a huge project in making new colonies on mars due to overpopulation, has declared that this project has been completed and all they need to do is detonate huge nuclear bombs on mars in order to make enough space for everyone. This bombs exploded in different parts of the planet, but something went terrible wrong with math and half of the core of the red planet broke in two pieces making the planet to get out of its orbit and began a course collision with the moon that will cause planet earth to suffer different climate changes including natural disasters and different size of steroids hitting the earth. The planet will be in total chaos and billions of people will die, all technology and forms of government has disappeared, the human race will need to start all over again with the basics, houses made of wood and leafs, people hunting and gathering materials for the different colonies that are now formed around the earth. After 5 years, the earth most powerful race is nature, animals and plants have conquer every corner of the world and now the humans aren’t the first on the food chain, due to radiation from the past events a new form of animals have formed, this animals are big predators with the characteristics of a lion, the speed of a cheetah and the size of an elephant. Humans now have to live in a new world due to their errors.
