The first time I met him and saw his smiling face,
The way his lips moved had me glued to my place.
His eyes, they burned a hole directly through my heart,
Had me vulnerable and exposed from the start.
But he never loved me, he only loved what we had,
I never thought that it could end up so bad.
With every kiss I tripped and fell for every lie,
And everything I dreamed was killed when he said goodbye.
