Life I wonder to myself sometimes
Do words really hurt?
Can they physicaly hurt someone?
threw my life i have been "hurt" with words
They seem to cut deep inside up
They shred your feelings
Ruin your life
Those words you grow to hate with life
Those who say these words should be punished
You know who you are....
Yes, they do hurt, strange as it may seem. Words can cut deeper than any knife can. And they leave even bolder scars. I'm riffing off you here. I like the poem. But inanswer to the question, they really can hurt.
