A Beautiful Flame

As we melt away the infinite distance

The sands of time itself

Are blown back into nothingness

The flicker of dreams gradually increase

As overwhelming presence

Fills the space between us,

Diffusing into each other,

Breathing essence

Listening to the turbulence

Of our heartbeats

Warmth danced were we touch

We, you and me

Loving with abandon

Without the restrictions

We have surpassed.

Slowly, a flame surges between

Our conjoined hearts

As fierce as the blaze of our passions

Ignited by a mere spark

Yet not even the strongest of gales

Can make it die down

Our hearts are on fire forever

And together

We are created

A beautiful flame that rivals

The perfection of the setting sun

Alive at last

In each others arms

Burning as if we are one.

Yet not even the strongest of gales
Can make it die down

This is probably my favorite part of the poem. <3 It's beautiful!
