My thoughts blur together

Shades of gray are all I see

This world can be so confusing

Sometimes it feels so empty



I am cursed like Christopher

Our minds work the same

I am unable to make decisions

It can cause so much pain



I dream to be like his brother

Black & white is all Nikolas sees

Decisions come easy to him

And he stands up for what he believes



I may dream in black & white

Those thoughts of simplicity

But when I wake up to reality

Shades of gray are all I see
