Longing

I wanted to bear the fruit of your loins until you shared your loins with another
I wanted to take care of you and our future family until you cared more for yourself than our vows
I wanted to raise your son, teach him love and loyalty like daddy, until you made a mockery of my faith
I wanted to raise your daughter, teach her to require devotion and respect, until your betrayal made me a hypocrite
I wanted to be a family until you made our marriage a threesome.

Good poem!

Great write on betrayal. Very honest and raw, yet poetic.
