Hello Atlas

It is winter, it is winter

you can tell from the frost on the doorknobs

it is raining, it is raining

you can tell from the blood on the sidewalk

life is empty, life is empty

yes, it is winter, it is winter

you can tell from the smiles of the children

they are laughing, they are laughing

yes, life is empty, but its not over

youve got legs so you've got to keep walking

youre still breathing, heart still beating

youre still moving, so be useful

put your work pants on and get your toolbox

Life is open, you are open, the world is open

to improvement

so get your work pants and your toolbox

oh, i know its hard for you

with so many coins thrown in your fountain

but dont give up hope

there is still magic in your skeleton

oh, i know its hard for you

with so many red marks on your record

but dont give up hope

there is still magic in your skeleton

oh, hello Atlas, nice to see you

i could recognize you from the frown lines

oh stop your crying, stop your crying

nobodys falling for it this time

tears are nothing but salt water

we know the weight of the world isn't so heavy

with all of the drugs in your system

it becomes easy to do the unwanted

when all of your body has gone numb

blood is nothing but salt water

oh, it is raining, it is raining

theres a salt mine all over the sidewalk

you're still bleeding, youre still feeling

you aren't drugged yet, you aren't done yet, you haven't hit the sun yet

there are no burns on your skin

so run from Atlas and get your toolbox

oh, i know its hard for you

with so many coins thrown in your fountain

but dont give up hope

there is still magic in your skeleton

oh, i know its hard for you

with so many red marks on your record

but dont give up hope

there is still magic in your skeleton
