Drowning.

Drowning so low in a deep senseless pool,

The innocent mixing around with the heartless and cruel,

It’s sad to see those turned to bad,

And once they’re gone some finally realize what they had,

As cliché as it is it’s true what they say,

You’ll finally realize what you had someday,

Unfortunately that saying comes with a turn

Cause you’ll find out their times up and you’ll actually learn,

You’ll regret and regret but what will that do?

After all they’re gone and they won’t hear you,

Is it fun to switch places with those that are hurt?

Not listened to, abused, and treated like dirt?

To those who are corrupt cannot imagine,

But the reality is that some are stuck in that wagon,

No one helps and all they can do is turn their back,

Some even have the nerve to run and attack to

Those who are already weak and beat down,

People want to feel high and mighty with this invisible crown,

I just wish I was there before they were gone,

To talk to them and let them know there’s someone they can count on,

This pool is big yet there’s danger everywhere,

Just try and swim past the evil stares,

Just know in the end it’ll be alright,

Whether you’re here or not, and out of sight.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is another poem that I've created a while ago and it was influenced by all of the bullying/torment towards teens, kids, and really anyone who feels like they don't have a place. Everyone who has been bullied to the point where they want to take their own life is excruciating to hear. Rest in peace to all of the victims of the bullying. If you want to talk about something that's bothering you just private chat me and I'll be more than glad to talk to you. :) Please read, comment, and enjoy! <3
