A Love Song

My eyes are soaked with love as such

With intense passions miss you much

Come darling is yours every Spring

The garden’s bloom you only bring

My restless longings are for thee

Since thou are all the world to me

The instant you left me it seems . . . .

Ruined all my life and charming dreams

So what if Spring with blossoms glow?

So what if the proud breeze does blow?

My pangs utter to me so what

if skylark soars, if rivulets flow?

Immersed in deep love my heart moans

Cherishing your memories ever groans

The autumn comes only to mar

From tunes of love I am too far

In my eyes there is flood of tears

My hope, my life, my soul you are

When we were at the peak of love

Why did you depart and go so far?
