Shoot with Camera

Witness nature under the sun

How wonderful and well-done!

Wow! gaze at the pretty dolphin

Look at the deer how they run

But shoot with camera, not with gun

O look at peacok that enthrals

The dancing penguins look like dolls

Singing birds are our pretty pals

Enjoy with a lot of fun

And shoot with camera, not with gun

The beauty of wildlife behold!

Gorgeous, plentiful, manifold

In richness always looks like gold

Be wise and kind like Solomon

So shoot with camera, not with gun

Author's Notes/Comments:

Addressed to the hunters who don't care for wildlife and are absorbed in their selfish motives.

agree to shoot with a camera to hold a pictorial memory and savor the moment to share with others......

Very true...wonder why people get pleasure out of shooting such beautiful animals anyway?? Thanks

How nice Iqbal. I totally agree!

Iqbal I enjoyed this one very much...it does not matter how many times "a hunter" tries to convince me of his integrity...I fail to see it as such. I see a ghost of the "great white hunter" with a gun. Guns were never made as a peace maker, but as a weapon to kill. People who choose to defend their "right" to carry something designed to kill have no respect for life. Period. Thank you for this poem.
