What I Pray For

With a passion I have to reveal

What I conceive or what I feel

When I am soaring at the wheel

The Milky Way is my poesy

A gust of wind, a clear blue sky

A bloom of rose with a butterfly

With every verse I have to deal

Hey! to make hay is my poesy

With a spell of music, buzz of bee

A dance of leaves, a wave of sea

The only boon that gives me zeal

No doubt I say is my poesy

Of the rhythmic tread of marching feet

The drum that goes with steady beat

Of the starry night I make a meal

To get me gay is my poesy

To convey ups and downs of fate

The events of my love and hate

Some episodes I may conceal

The tune I play is my poesy

A glance of beauty in her grace

A beam of hope with gleeful face

With enchanted power to heal

A blissful ray is my poesy

Without which useless is beehive

Without which I cannot survive

So on a rhyme to set the seal

The night and day is my poesy

A comrade of my solitude

A marvel of my aptitude

Giving my Allah thanks I kneel

For what I pray is my poesy

To give you pearls of joy and love

To make you peaceful like a dove

To get back on an even keel

On a handsome tray is my poesy

I thought this poem had soul but I was a bit distracted by the word POESY. It doesn't seem quite the right word to me.???? Is this only me?
