Sayings

Where there is will, there is a way

Where there is skill, there is a say

Where there's no life, there is no strife

Where there's no strife, there is decay

Ere there is charity to begin at home

Ensure no bill you have to pay

Go east or west, home is the best

For a long time nowhere you should stay

Though beauty needs no ornaments

Yet make-up is done for display

The best policy is honesty

It may be though to one's dismay

Though it's never too late to mend

But one may have died of delay

Lo, time and tide wait for no man

Keep slothfulness always at bay

Cut your cloth according to your cloth

Long is the work -- - short is the day

Love makes one fit for any work

Love me, love my dog. Don't betray

When the cat is away, the mice will play

When wives are away, husbands hurray

Catch all your hares but don't cook them

Lay them up for a rainy day

While the iron is hot, you must strike

When the sun is shining, do make hay

You must put off till tomorrow

The work you cannot do today

Idle brain is devil's workshop

Do work or read or write or play

I really liked the lyrical rhyhme in this poem. It is a good idea, incorporating cliche with lines of rhyhme. Thanks for posting Iqbal, hope all is well with you and your family...
