a million things I never expected

and so many to never feel

a sharing of sentiments

so simple

a deep secret

so clear

denial can be so sweet

when the truth is rarely known

affection can be so cruel

when it's often rarely shown

through the years

you've waited

for a moment to arise

for a girl, so deep

so passionate

to reach you through inside

days gone through silence

curiosity at it's best

pain hidden due to the forbidden

turns all friends into pests

uncomfortable in mindset

fantasies ripping at your heart

normal conversation

suddenly taring you apart

confessions non existant

though echoing deep inside

a roller coaster of emotions

and you brought me for the ride

a confession now existant

hidden as best you could

regretful as you try to be

but you spoke it like you should

you think the story's over

you think the game is done

you think the pain will end now

and now you search for fun

oh my dear, you're dreaming

the story's just begun

years from now, I'll be here

and still I'll be the one

rarely do these feelings stay

when true, rarely do they go

will anything ever come but torture

only time shall know
