Alice

a simple child i was born

unknown to travel far

soon i traveled to a fantasy land

a place beyond a star

with twists and turns that make no sense

and everything's to strange

ill close my eyes and pray to heavens

but nothing seems to change

fun while lasted it was great

but now i start to fear

will i ever get back from this twisted place

need to get out of here

can you hear me my cries are loud

maybe I'm too far

distance was further than i thought

this place was so bizarre

my ups were down and inside was out

my wrong was truly right

weird to be strong and courageous

normal filled with fright

the darkness is a place of safety

the light is a place of hate

a place in public where the differents go

to watch each other mate

the private comes into the open

without a single doubt

your thoughts are screamed at the top of your lungs

and your screams are sound without

you insult their ways of normality

and after you they chase

now is the time to find how

to escape this unhappy place

you run and hide but still no use

they know you don't belong

here they come to destroy you now

but you've been dreaming all along

Yes, write because it completes you, I may not be the greatest writer either but I also do if for joy. Be what you want, write what want and importantly make everything the way you want it.
