Land

West of where

our skin met

in a mist of moist

we went

setting sail.

East of escapism

and ecstasy

we enter the channels

of we,

sucking softly

on the nape of

necks

flooding

our deck.

South of succulent

splendor sweet

and stingy sounds

surround

we run aground

and stay.

North of nips

naughty tastes

till drips abate

we neither

nest nor separate

Navigate

this body map

weathered worn

un-explored erotic

abound in binds

of lip and tongue

of leg and hand,

keep hold

we are so very close

to land.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I don't really know how I feel about this poem.  It seems sad to me, and it rolled from me in a sad manner, yet it was supposed to be sexual.  It's a conundrum.

Hmm, ok.. my turn.
I nearly banged my computer when I read this poem. (J/K)
I read the bit in the boards where you discuss how younger ones deal with material such as this.. I had to make a crack.. I mean afterall, I AM 17.. arent I? :)
On a more serious note:

It is VERY sexual.. I didnt find it sad at all to be honest.

It sounds more to me like two human beings exploring not only their bodies, but also their minds, trust, passion.. so many feelings packed into one hugh skull-splitting punch-of-a-poem. I found it to be a very terrific poem, a very beautiful form of expression.

Oh, and you need to put a period in this section of your piece..
