The House on Erlanger

Erlanger crumbled

Shrouded and strange

Memories jumbled

The house's deranged

The patter of feet

Laughter in the air

Echoing sounds no ones heard in years

Voices of colors

Exposing these fears

Erlangers crypyic

in a pastel yellow way

Reflecting the anguish

it's seen from it's walls

This time when it beckons,

don't answer it's calls

Hiding defection

Living in gloom

Lost in a shotgun

with only three rooms

They're all over New Orleans,

They're all over New Orleans, if you've ever been. Sadly, a lot of them are delapdated. The one I lived in was eighty years old when it was torn down. What's this about taking a break with your writing I read?

I'm working through it.

I'm working through it. Slowly but surely. I'll be back in full force soon. I can never stay away for too long but I just got overwhelmed with hatred for my own words. I also write at impyshideout. Been playing over there a bit. Got a fairytale series in the works.
