Her name was Rose

Roses seem to bow

water dripping from gentle petals

And guarded stems

Some flowers rise with the sun

Or glow in the night

The rose is unwavering

Flawless and glistening

in the morning dew

in the blossoming sun

Lovely and enticing

in the mystery of night

Red like the bleeding lovers hearts

Candescent with new love

They are the epitome of beauty

Daisies yearn for such colors

Such divine elegance

I'd like to live in a world

Where roses were weeds

And the resiliency of the daisy

Was symbolic of love
