Without You

Folder:
Breaking Up

Sitting alone, on a moonlit beach

You’re so far, and out of reach

Watching the sun, as it disappears

Left in the dark, with all of my fears

The moons reflection, on the waters egde

Dangling my feet, over the ledge

I get up and walk, on the shore line

Wondering why, you’re no longer mine

I stare across, the darkened lake,

Without you, too much pain to take

It’s been too long, since I’ve seen your face

I can no longer remember, how your lips taste

Then I think of our old past,

I wish those times, would have last

Thinking of where, we are now

I can’t live this life, I’m without you somehow

I can no longer take the pain inside

I’ll let loose my feelings that I always hide

I fall over crying, into the sand

Your not here, to give me a hand

All this pain that I go through

While you are happy, with someone new

I kick and cry, and start to scream

Why isn’t this, just a dumb dream?

No matter how hard, I ever do try

Thinking of you will make me cry

I try so hard, to get over you

Though there’s nothing, I can do

Millions of stars, I notice above,

That’s when I know, this is true love

I focus on, a single star,

Just like you, it’s so far

Maybe one day, together we’ll be

Because I cant go on, without you and me…
