Looking down, upon the world

Looking down, upon the world, a shame it is to see

Why wont all the people, just let the earth live free?

Grassy green fields, and forest too,

They once were so beautiful, what did we do?

We ruin our world, more everyday

I wish the earth’s beauty, wouldn’t melt away

We cut down trees, which take so much time to grow

These trees irreplaceable, but people don’t know

Soon there will be, no more trees on this earth

While more and more people, are just giving birth

Owning the world, is what we all think

But by owning the world, the environment will sink

What makes us think that we own all?

The right to take land, for another new mall?

Selling land, that isn’t ours

To make new roads, to drive new cars

We destroy many homes everyday

And so many animals die this way

But money is all, we care about

Not many people have all of this doubt

We all go on, living our happy lives,

While the earth, just slowly dies

Killing the earth, is what I hate

The day we will see, is the day it’s too late…

This is so meaningful to me, so many people don't realise what we're doing to this beautiful place we live in. I thought it was really clever that you delivered such a good message and managed to make it rhyme as well!

Haha, probably just because I suck at rhyming...Good work
