I took a walk, all alone

To get myself, away from home

Went to a place, where I used to go,

When I was happy, not down and low



Walking through, the tall, tall weeds

The familiar place, where this path leads

Thinking of times, when I walked here before,

Walking with you, is not anymore



We walked here together, holding hands,

On mud from the rain, or dry grounds like the sands

The exact same rout, the way that we’d take

Walking along, the path that we’d make



I imagine your with me, were together again,

We never had broke up, this is how life has been

Pretend that your there, through the grass we walk,

Laughing together, while we talk



Soon were there, we stop and sit,

Enjoying the times, every bit

You lean in closer, to my face

As my heart, begins to race



I close my eyes, you close yours too

Our lips gently meet, just like they knew

My arms tightly around your neck, showing your mine,

You pull me closer, shivers up my spine



I hold you tight, while we kiss

Not a second of this, would I want to miss

Then you smile, looking into my eyes,

Things don’t last forever, everything dies



I look at you as you fade away,

I with that forever, you would stay

I try to grab you, and pull you back to me,

But now you’re gone, and I am lonely





Tears start streaming, down my face,

I cry, and cry, you’ve been erased

I wish that you could stay with me,

I’m as lonely, as lonely, could ever be…
