Breaking Up What if I told you things,
and none of them were true
what if I said some stuff,
just to make you feel more blue
what if I said I loved you,
and it really was a lie
what if I said I'd stay,
and then I said goodbye
what if I only kissed you,
so that you’d kiss me back
what if when I talked of you,
the truth is what I'd lack
what if when I smiled
it wasn't just for you,
what if I loved another,
and that someone wasn’t you
what if the one I loved,
was someone that you hate
someone that you used to know,
someone I used to date
what if I said you looked nice,
when really you looked bad
what if I only yelled at you,
to make you feel more sad
what if this and what if that,
the truth is never known
never will you know me,
I’m always the unknown

I now know how you feel and I'm sorry that it had to be this way, but I want you to be happy. I wish I would of read your poems earlyer maybe then I would realize what was different about you. I knew there was something but I wasn't sure. You didn't love me, that's what it was, but I can't say the same, I love you so much I can't stand it. but I want you to be happy and I will let you go, but who knows, with me it's never to late :).
