Shaking as I walked down

I had no idea what this was about

When you spoke

I stopped breathing

because I couldn't believe you still cared

cared enough to call me down

Crying

because it was how it used to be

for a split second

Us on the same level

You understanding me

like you always have

Putting up with me not telling you how I felt

I wouldn't have stood it as long as you did

Even though we will never had what we once had
