Babies

Before we have memory,

Before we know what this world is, we dream

Babies dream of what came before,

Of universes that are no longer there

Babies dream of dead worlds

Babies know about our sins

Before we know they will happen,

Babies dream of what is to come

Of what will occure if we do not bow down

Babies dream of a dead future

Babies laugh when we are sad

And they cry when we smile

Babies walk when we're down

And they kneel when we stand

Our babies know,

But they pretend otherwise

They'll sit and listen

While we slowly dissolve

Babies dream about a perfect world

Babies spread an ancient illness

But they'll smile to make us forget

Babies understand why we cry

But they wont help us

Babies sleep, and they try to fool us

Babies dream of a dead present

Babies will to make us believe

We have the strength within us

But they'll laugh as we slowly die inside

Babies say they're innocent

But we all know otherwise

Babies dream of a mad world

The world that I am living

Yea...Hulligan,

Alice Cooper was really huge (but short lived, obviously) when I was growing up. He did some others that were super popular among the far left end of the hard rockers of that time. This one was pretty popular too..

People really just liked him because he was bizarre...and their parents hated him...lol

black sabbath was really the big one back then among any bands having a 'near metal' sound.
