The Optimist
The optimist is a person
who sees the good side of life.
The glass is always half full
and never half empty.
The optimist always has hope
even when all seems lost.
The optimist sees the light
even when everyone sees the dark.
The optimist wakes up cheerful
and ready to start the day.
The optimist has bad days
but doesn't like to dwell on them.
The optimist makes people smile
because they themselves do so.
I should know
because I am somewhat of one myself!
