La Moitié de Moi est Manquant

La moitié de moi est manquant

Je suis le exemple

Des incomplete

Parce que vous avez

Maintenant une partie de moi

La moitié de moi est manquant

La couleur des vos yeux

Vole mon coeur

La vivacité d'entre eux

Ouvert ma âme

Votre beauté êtes simple

Il ne faut pas un nom

La moitié de moi est manquant

Mon trésor

Vous me trouvez

La moitié de moi est manquant

Author's Notes/Comments:

Half of me is missing

I am the epitome

Of incomplete

Because you are

Now a piece of me

Half of me is missing

The color of your eyes

Stole my heart

Their intensity

Opened my soul

Your beauty is simple

It does not need a name

Half of me is missing

My treasure

Find me

Half of me is missing

I am inlove with this poem.

I am inlove with this poem. it reminds me of a poem that Pablo Neruda wrote called "tonight I write". Also it reminds me of a song called "paloma negra" by chavela vargas. The english translation of that song is this:

I’m tired of weeping and yet there’s no sign of the sun
I no longer know whether to curse you or pray for you
I’m afraid to look for you and afraid to find you
Where my friends all tell me that you’ve gone

At times I feel like relinquishing the fight
And ripping out the nails that cause my pain
But my eyes are dying without looking into yours
And my affection returns to wait for you at dawn

And you decided on your own to find a party
Black dove, black dove, where are you?
Stop playing with my honor, party girl
Your caresses must be mine, and no one else’s

And though I love you madly, don’t come back to me
Black dove, you are the bars on this cage of suffering
I want to be free and live my life with whom I choose
Lord, give me strength for I’m dying to go find her

"It is a terrible thing to be so open. It is as if my heart put on a face and walked into the world" -- Sylvia Plath.

Aw that is so beautifully sad.... what a great poem... it's so relatable and heart-wrenching... and thank you so much for your kind words!... I absolutely love Pablo Neruda by the way!!! My favorite poem from him is "Morning".

Just in case you haven't read it before ^_^
