I thought we could paint rainbows
across the clear blue sky
Though clear blue didn't show the colors
of that you and I
Our love could change the weather
Our tears would water the earth
Our hearts could come together
to heal this universe

what a beautiful thing heartbreak is
such a wretched feeling
to produce such a deep longing
never to be satisfied again
heartbreak is the first step
to becoming an artist

to understanding love
to undertanding pain
to understanding God
it opens your eyes to despair
and how desperate you are for love

There's been so much heartbreak. And I find my heart breaking over and over again. I just love too much. Not that I thnk its a bad thing. Poetry breaks my heart Too. My mind takes me away to so many places where hurt lies. I've wallowed in despair much of my life, but you'd only know the pain if you look in my eyes. And even then my smile might've blocked ones notice.
