Moon shadow
When the fear struck my soul
I took a spiral down
It left me feeling all alone
as I tried to keep myself from grasping
the you that I once kept hidden so deeply
in my heart
I missed you
the you of this universe
and I am in love with the moon
as heartbreaking as it is
to see only one side
Shadows hiding
where I cannot see
behind me
Creeping up relentlessly
taking my view
distorting my being
I cannot see what is happening
But I do
This is the truth
It frightened me
to see you through the light
only to look at your shadow side
