"Destruction Katrina"

Folder:
deep and down

Who would ever thought that a site will be shown in this way,

many struggling to hold on and out of fear they pray.

As the wind began to blow, the winds were starting to twist,

before you knew it, in the sky was one great big fist.

As she came to shore a blow to the land was made,

the structures of buildings started to fade.

Windows shattering like the many lifes lost at sea.

trying to find the others that once were next to thee.

Water began to fill to the roofs and people were lifted to

find higher ground in the atticks they were found.

The many lost there homes and many lost there lives,

not one prayer was answered many were thrown back in dives.

Katrina had made herself known to many,

the damage she caused was plenty.

The survivers are still trying to survive,

struggle for water and food to stay alive.

For the waters that fill that land of sorrows of saddness,

People are running around with hatred and maddness.

The heavyness of all this destruction will be in the past,

but the devastation in the hearts will everlast.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I feel so heart broken for the saddness of all those people and my heart will continue in prayer.
