I'd give you the moon

     if I could,

The stars too,

     I really would.

I'd give you a mansion

     and a limosine.

But that takes riches

     so far, unseen.

For all those at my station

     those things are far above.

All I have to offer

     is my never-ending love.

It may not be much to offer,

     but it is true,

My heart is filled

     with love for you.

Many years have past

     almost too many to count,

Yet my love for you 

     continues to mount.

It grows minute-by-minute

     hour-by-hour

Through the good times

     and the sour.

As we move into our

     golden years

I will always hold 

     your love dear.

In my final breath

     as my soul leaves

     on the wings of a dove,

Rest assured that eternity

     will not dim my love.
