Can you hear it?

The sound of thousands of men's last breaths

Can you see it?

So many men coming to their death

Bullets coming and going past their heads

Lucky enough to not yet be dead

Machine guns blasting, pistols cocked

Grenades exploding, snipers locked

The platoon is waiting for a command

Crawling ovr bodies in the sand

"Move out" they hear over the guns

One man dies as he tries to run

Boom! A rocket lights up a room

The skies are dark but its only noon

Up to a tower their snipers sprints

They see him up there, his gun is a hint

One by one he mows them down

One by one they fall to the ground

This is the life of a soldier be it good or bad

In many minds I guess its sad

So dont critizies what you dont understand

Just be behind the ones who protect our land
