A YOUNG POET The eyes are the light of the body.
Thoughts are assertained
looking into them.
Eyes tell the story of the person
they possess.
They display happiness, sadness,
depression, hopes and dreams,
They tell the story of your life.
Looking into your eyes is like
opening the windows of your
world.
Eyes are a mirror of the mind
Silently asking and answering
questions.
Throwing off reflections with
penetrating depths.
IT HAS BEEN SAID:
Look into the eyes
Look into the soul.
When I look into your eyes,
Your secrets are revealed.
You are an open book for me
to read.
Cast your eyes downward, I
know you are trying to hide
something.
Look me straight in the eyes,
I will silently read you.

I appreciate this poem. Looking straight into anothers eyes is my favorite way to connect with other souls. Well, that and poetry.
