THE ROCK OF LAURALEE

Folder:
FALLEN LEAVES

I stood on the rock of
Lauralee,
Silently looking out to
sea.
Could hear the howling
of the wind,
As it came rushing round
the bend.
Watched your ship sail
out to sea,
Leaving the port of
Lauralee.
Each day, I return to
view,
Looking at the ocean
blue.
Scanning the horizon, no
ship in sight,
Perhaps a phantom in
the night.
Today I'm standing here
again,
Watching your ship
rounding the bend.
Catching you in the misty
air,
My heart leaped to meet
you there.
Once more invited home
with me,
Standing on the rock
of Lauralee.

The Rock of Lauralee,
Is very important to
me.
My heart leaped, to see
you there,
Standing in the misty
air.
