Spirit of the Nymph

As the Imp watched the Nymph disappear into the woods,
she wanted to follow and could if she would.

She stood up and slowly took a step forward.
Searching the ground for the tracks of the nymph.

As she began to follow her footsteps
she was intoxicated by ambrosia scent.

She didn't notice coyote behind her
watching every move that she made.

The imp looked like such a good treat
coyote intended to taste her defeat.

Coyote thought up new ways to trick her
his brilliant idea was such a charade.

The imp, undeceived by wile e coyote
she tried to hide within the trees.

But coyote had created a trap
and Impy did fall right into that.

It was a deep hole coyote had dug.
She couldn't climb out, she was stuck in the mud.

Exhaustion set in as she tried to reach ground.
After a while she had to lay down.

She fell asleep and started to dream
of that nymph that she had wanted to see.

After some time, she began to awake.
The imp that she was had to answer to fate.

For she had transformed into something new.
The imp had turned into something blue.

She looked at her arms, they had become wings.
She thought for a moment she was a faerie.

She flapped her new wings and flew out of the hole.
But she didn't yet have any flying control.

She flew right into a spiders web.
Stuck in there, she knew she'd be fed.

The spider came closer and filled her with fright.
She said a little prayer she'd make it through the night.

Before the spider ate her, coyote broke through the web.
The faerie was now attached to the fur upon his head.

He shook her off onto the ground.
He sniffed about, but she couldn't be found.

She was hiding under a pile of leaves.
Where something magical was happening.

Once again she was transforming.
She became something new and was conforming.

Her body was now covered in fur.
Though she still wanted to be a bird.

She looked at herself in a muddy pool
but her reflection didn't shine through.

Then she felt the touch of a soft hand.
It was the nymph who led her to dryer land.

Finally, she saw her own spirit.
She knew she didn't have to fear it.

The nymph touched her face and told her clear.
"My lovely you've just become a dear."

to be continued....

Awe<3

I would have to think on it on how I would want to continue it.
It might take awhile, but other than that I don't mind. ^.-
I've never really written 'bout nymphs, and imps before lol
I think that 'tis why I was having so much trouble,
because I do research when I write,
but maybe we can create a little fairy land out of this.
Who knows?
