TO MY FRIENDS OVERSEAS

To my friends overseas

To my friends overseas

I hold you close in my prayers

You are doing your job

With a graceful ease

I know at times you are afraid

And you must get lonely for your family

You think of loved ones left behind

And for all this you are so underpaid

I look forward to the day I hear

Each of you is start side

Living life to the fullest

Memories a life long souvenir

So for all of you in the DOG POUND

Keep your heads up and eyes open wide

I am blessed to have met you

No better friends could ever be found

Well done Renee' I'm simply amazed at the way your circle of planetary souls seems to grow with each new poem added to this site. Amazing how the planet seems so large--remember the Greyhound experience...:o))---but not too large to reach friends on most of the continents. I'm always amazed at how your feelings seem to flow so freely in your poetry. Your poetry seems to flow naturally without much strain when you sit at your keyboard. Watching you compose and share your inner thoughts is such a warm blessing for me. I love watching your just hang out in that special place that I have been given to pleasure to witness. I hope that we are always together and that our love just growns deeper with each new posting on this site. Love you, Goldeneagle :o) @---->---->---->
