poem_261_Our_Rainy_World

It's raining outside right now

I can't help but think of you

Your warm body against mine

Your gentle caress too

I close my eyes and hear the drops

Falling on galvanized sheet

Taking me back to you once more

Where in the rain we meet

How we kiss under falling water

And the heat doesn't compare

In the passion that we create

The water sublimates in air

Steam rises from our body

Our lips lock in love

Our body doesn't yield

To the coldness from above

Lost in each other's eyes now

Letting rain take us away

There's only us in the world

And that's not a cliche

Clothes drenched in water

My make-up runs down

There's hair gel on your face

But we're still standing around

You are my world and I am yours

Despite on Earth we reside

No matter what problems we have

In our world they're denied

In our perfect existence

Where we are one in two

I know that you love me

And you know I love you
