poem_239_Light

Walking along

A dark long path

Abyss encompasses

Taunting with wrath

Stumbling my way

Trying to find

The end of this hole

And ease my dark mind

But out in the distance

Far, far away

I see a dim light

Coming to play

I can see the glimmers

Of the walls around

Even the depressions

Ahead in the ground

“Thank you sweet light,

For allowing to see

These pots up ahead,

That might have hurt me”

But the light dims and fades

I’m in the dark once more

But at least now I know

Of the dangers in store

I continue my travels

Aware of my foes

Dodging with knowledge

As my memory comes goes

Where are they now

What problems are there

I’m frozen stiff

At the darkness I stare

The light shines again

More visuals I gain

“Thank you my lig…”

WHAM!... a train
