poem_120_The_King

As his majesty

Does sit on his throne

He's but a commoner

Of his very own

In his eyes

He's smarter than most

And in my apprise

By his side should be my post

Maybe just a commoner

I am with his astute

But like any commoner

I wish to be repute

With his eloquence

I can't help but swoon

And wish to learn from his immense

Aesthetic songwriters tune

He sings the words

That I can only think

For I am one of few

Who has this type of sync

But even in my difference

And even in my plight

This message to convey

Will never shine as bright

And even in my longest cries

And in my deepest plight

I'll never be by his side

But I continue to fight

For he has the power

And I am just there

He is the tower

With my heart

He won't spare

But, oh, he's a king

And I am just a commoner

While the words he'll sing

Just tear my heart and burn

Because, I'll never be his
