poem_130_This_GuyII

I met this guy online

Instantly we clicked

The more we talked

The more I sticked

“after reading this you're going to close your eyes.

for the next five minutes, your thoughts are going to simulate the following.

think about you just standing on your room.

then zoom to a view of you standing where you are in your house.

from there zoom out to kate.

then from there zoom out to Houston.

to the US.

to North America,

to this planet,

to the solar system,

then keep on doing it till I give you a nudge”

June 4th it happened

This inexplicable event

Where he explained something

And I knew exactly what he meant

I’ve had this feeling

Of seeing myself differently

Since I was 7

He somehow explained it incidentally

When I finally realized

What he said could have been

The answer I’ve been looking for

Since I was seven

I couldn’t help but to cry

That someone thought the same way

And could help me answer “why”

He doesn’t think I know

How he feels to the exact

But I honestly feel

I empathize for a fact

What he lives everyday

He said I could only think

But in my mind I know

I am in the same sync

And this guy

Still entices me so

And I can’t help but wonder

Where our friendship will go
