poem_124_HST_I

Dear Ms. Newton,

To the teacher who was always there.

You'll never know how much I appreciate you.

When I, or anyone, had a problem you truly showed the care,

And helped us all with the roughest time as we got through.

Although now, your life is a bit on the edge,

I wish to you forever-good luck.

Hopefully the stress doesn't put you over the ledge,

And cause you to stop all this, cause that would really suck.

Thanks for being there for us all,

In many ways more than just one.

Even though we're in the big pond, and you're a fish small,

You've made an impact on us all with our lives we've begun.

Thanks for all the leeway you gave me.

I know the grade demands must have been hard.

But thanks to you cause I can now see,

A chance at being a junior because of your regard.

Wouldn't ya know it,

The class is almost complete.

Just a few minutes before we split,

Then there is still another test to repeat.

Talk to ya later Ms. Newton.

Thanks again for the aid.

We'll all be over here rootin'

For the day you've got it made.

I hope I see you one day on some famous show.

I'm sure you'll se me, or at least that's my foal.

But no matter what, I'll always thank you for helping my grow.

I hope you will try to keep in touch through your new role.

From one of your admiring students,

Hisako J. Pack

P.S. I tried to get you something,

Some chocolate of sort.

But I couldn't find the time to swing,

By the store, so here's my last resort :P
