My Grandmother’s Little Water Bottle

My grandmother always carries her little water bottle to wherever she goes. If she goes to the supermarket, she takes it, if she goes to the theater, she takes it, if she goes to the cinema, she takes it, even if she goes to a restaurant, she takes it. She never leaves home without it (don’t ask me why). I don’t know if it is the same bottle every time or she changes it with frequency, sincerely I don’t pay attention to that. Whenever I go out with her, besides of taking her little water bottle, she always asks me if I also want to take with me a little water bottle just like hers. Most of the times I say yes because I know if I don’t take it, I will have nothing to drink and my grandmother won’t buy me anything, of course, unless we are going to a restaurant or somewhere to eat. I think the reason she does that is because she doesn’t want to buy a new bottle and spend more money or it can also be that she like to reuse the same bottle, you know, that kind of stuff you do for the environment although I don’t really think so, I never watch her to recycle or something like that. When she carry her small water bottle, she take it always warm because she said the cold water makes her hurt her throat, also ultimately she can become sick. In fact, she always asks me if I can drink cold water or in general when I eat cold things/food maybe because of that. Other thing is that she takes her small bottle of water in her purse so that nobody can see it. It does not matter if in the places we go a poster is displayed saying “Do not enter with water or food”, she enters with it. Obviously, when she is thirsty she takes her bottle out of her bag, also you know, she does it on the sly. Maybe that’s a bad example for me but she seems to do not care much.  Something curious is that I have never seen my grandma to finish her bottle; yes, I have seen her to drink from her bottle but never end it. When we return to the house, she keeps all the time her small bottle in the cupboard for when she need it.
